1.Abs workouts will yield the best results when done daily.
Following this belief will be risky. Abs workouts when done without taking rest will make the muscles wear out, as in the case of training the triceps or biceps. This is a false belief. When the hands are kept behind the head, the general tendency is to flex the muscles of the neck, rather than contract the muscles of the abdomen. If you are doing this step then you run the risk of strain and wear-out of your neck muscles, particularly when the work out becomes harder due to repetition of the steps. The safer alternative is to keep either your fists over the ears, or your arms in front your chest, each elbow cupped by the other hand.
4.The upper and lower abs muscles are in separate positions.
This also is a false notion. The abs is a long expanse of muscle, and there are no individual upper or lower muscles. Whatever abs workouts you do, each of them covers all points on the abdomen. Though there are particular procedures that focus more action on the upper or lower abs, still they are not individual muscles. When you do the crunch that pulls the chest towards the pelvis, you are targeting the upper abs. You should do the leg and butt raising step to focus on the lower abs.

At first it was hard to picture it in your head, how can a 50-piece orchestra complete with oboe, English Horn, bassoon, violins, violas, cellos, basses and other classical music instruments mixed with heavy electric guitar riffs, bass guitar tunes, rock band drum set and even an electric violin to make the sound pretty much unique. Picturing it in your mind playing the timeless classic hits of the Led Zeppelin is pretty much out of this world, but hey, somebody pulled it off. The conductor/arranger Havens said that his effort to do this was to УTake music as closed as the originalsФ and to УAdd some color to enhance what Led Zeppelin has done.Ф The concert took place at Planet Hollywood Theatre; it was the former Aladdin Performing Arts Center.
They have a lead singer in Randy Jackson (Nope, not the American Idol judge, sorry fellas), their lead guitarist was George Cintron, bassist was Dan Clemens and drummer was Powell Randolph. It was a good set of band and with the 50-piece orchestra backing you up there is no room for error. At first it sounded shaky that is what you get if you put classical music and hard rock and roll rolled into one stage. But as the concert progressed the sound actually comes to life and you can really enjoy what the band and the orchestra have been creating. Cintron, really captures Jimmy PageТs riffs, drummer Randolph will make you think that John Bonham was really out there performing and the bassist Clemens is blending in with the orchestra as well. It was pretty much a great performance.
The merging of the 2 genres took off with the performance of the song УStairway to HeavenФ where the perfect volume, the perfect blending and range was caught and really created a great wave of sound. It was one of a kind night and I could only wish Jimmy Page was there to witness it all. Never in my life I wouldТve think that someone would pull it off the way they did but they managed to do so. It was a great classical music meets rock and roll performance as the 50-piece orchestra really captured УThe Music of Led ZeppelinФ in its own way.

Men always thinks about skin care as weak and not masculine enough for them to care about, but what they donТt know is that women loves men who know how to take care of their skins. Chinese Numerology
Although the exact origins of numerology are unknown, Chinese numerology is believed to be one of the earliest forms of numerology. It is thought that the origins of Chinese numerology date back nearly 4000 years to the banks of the Yellow River.
The tale that is told is that the first of the five mythical emperors of China, Wu of Hsai, was working on the banks of the Yellow River trying to find a method to prevent the floods that regularly devastated the communities located along the river. It was during the course of this work that Wu found a tortoise shell, which at the time was considered to be a very good omen.
This particular tortoise shell, however, was extremely rare, unique and special because it had fascinating markings on it. The shell showed a magic 3×3 square on its back that later became known as the Lo Shu Grid. The Lo Shu Grid was particularly remarkable because every row, column and diagonal on the grid add up to the number 15.
The number 15 was very significant because it is the number of days between the new moon and the full moon. Additionally, the number 5 was highly respected in ancient China, and was located in the important center square of the grid.
The Lo Shu Grid became the basis of Chinese numerology and is still used today in the Far East.
The grid took on a different adaptation in the West, and eventually over time Chinese numerology evolved into three different systems that are used today. There is the Western Version of Chinese Numerology, Traditional Chinese Numerology and the Ki system.
There is very little known about the origins of the Western version of Chinese numerology, although Hettie Templeton is credited with its popularization. Templeton taught classes and gave numerous public lectures and broadcasts throughout Australia during the 1930’s and 40’s. Her teachings helped Western Chinese Numerology gain the popularity it enjoys today, so most of the current information regarding this form of numerology comes from Australia and New Zealand.
The Western version of Chinese Numerology is by far the easiest of the three versions of Chinese Numerology to learn, and it is believed by many to be the most accurate. In fact, there are a large number of numerologists in China and Hong Kong who use the Western version rather than the traditional version of Chinese Numerology.
Chinese numerology uses only the numbers 1-9, and 0 is not included. Western Chinese numerology uses a square made up of 9 boxes - 3 down and 3 across. You can think of this square like a tic-tac-toe square or like a number sign (#) Each box in the square has a number from 1-9 associated with it. The boxes are numbered from 1-9 starting in the lower left square and moving up each column. So, from bottom to top in the first column would be 1,2,3, from bottom to top in the second column would be 4,5,6, and the last column from bottom to top would contain the numbers 7,8 and 9.
The numbers from a person’s date of birth are then input into these boxes one at a time. So for instance, if someone was born in the year 1966, they would have one 1 in the bottom left box, one 9 in the top right box, and two 6’s in the top middle box.
Depending upon how many of each number a person has in their grid, you can tell a lot about their strengths and weaknesses, their character traits and more.

Gilmore Girls (Season 3) DVD Review
Nominated for 1 Emmy and 1 Golden Globe in its first five seasons, Gilmore Girls has experienced much greater success among TV viewers than among industry critics. In fact, the show is the first script supported by the Family Friendly Forum’s script development fund to go on and become a regular television series. Part of an initiative between The WB Network - maker of such hits as Dawson’s Creek (1998), Felicity (1998), Angel (1999), and Smallville (2001) - and fellow industry executives, this push for more family-oriented programming resulted in a series showcasing a unique mother-daughter bond and the various people they encounter on their life voyage of discovery. Set in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut, Gilmore Girls utilizes many of the same sets as the hit series The Dukes Of Hazzard (1979) - another successful Warner Brothers production from years past…
Gilmore Girls is set in a small idyllic community in Connecticut filled with a wide range of diverse characters and eccentric personalities. I’m Not There Movie Review - Six Sides of Dylan is Another Side of Bob Dylan Too Many!
Tod Haynes’ 2007 docu-drama “I’m Not There” is a poetic meditation on the life and career of Bob Dylan. In tone and structure, the film is a radical departure from traditional music biopics.
Haynes’ screenplay accepts as its basic premise, that Dylan’s story is too enigmatic to be summarized in conventional narrative terms. His solution is to cast six different actors to portray different aspects of Dylan’s personality, at various stages in his lengthy career. The characters are given alternate names (like Jude Quinn, or Billy the Kid) and their stories take liberties with Dylan’s life (one of them is an actor, not a musician) in order to convey the shifting nature of Dylan’s art. The actors include both an African American boy and a woman.
The woman is Cate Blanchett. Along with Heath Ledger, they deliver the two most solid Dylan incarnations in the film. Blanchett was nominated for an Oscar for her vivid portrayal of Dylan in the mid-sixties. She brilliantly conveys the alienation that comes with fame, and the pointlessness of celebrity.
Ledger, on the other hand, plays Dylan later in life– after he had turned his back on pop music. His scenes depict the breakup of Dylan’s marriage, and the inherent difficulty of balancing a public persona with a private life. Ledger’s performance is introspective and understated, like Dylan’s albums in the early seventies.
The other performances are good too, but none can overcome Haynes’ self-conscious, reference-stuffed script. He incorporates many allusions to the real-life Dylan which are disorganized and lacking context.
Using song titles as dialogue, for example, strikes a particularly hamfisted tone. In one scene, Cate Blanchett’s Jude Quinn is confronted by a crazed fan with a knife. When a groupie subdues the fan by smashing a bottle over his head, Quinn quips, “Just like a woman!” Winks and nods to real-life Dylan trivia needn’t be so cringe inducing as that!
It begs the question as to whether Haynes’ entire approach is even necessary. Surely a traditional biopic like “Walk The Line” feels genuine (in part) because Johnny Cash talks like a real person. If he cuddled up next to his wife June and whispered in her ear, “I walk the line… because you’re mine,” no one would take the film seriously.
Fortunately, for each such misstep, “I’m Not There” corrects course with a sure-footed step. (Richie Havens delights in a brief singing role, and David Cross steals a scene as poet Allen Ginsburg.) But by the end, writer/ director Haynes has meandered too much. “I’m Not There” offers only a vague semblance of a musician and his art. Maybe this is all one can expect when the subject of the piece is as enigmatic as Dylan.
Yet we are left to wonder: perhaps seeing six different sides of Bob Dylan is simply another side of Bob Dylan too many.
