My thoughts? Britney Spears will end up on top again. Perhaps not the same, but on top. After all is said and done, she will be just a little crazy and that is a recipe for success. If nothing else, the publicity Spears has received in the past few months has superseded that of anyone in recent history (at least for that of the Generation Y crowd). As it has been said, there is no such thing as bad publicity. There is also much to be said about how much of this is real. Sure she has obvious mental issues…but she still has an agent and a publicist. Rule one of publicity says if you find something to gain exposure, milk it.
Well its now getting to the point of people giggling at Spears’ downfall to people feeling sorry for the girl. Let’s look at the major issues without going into details. In the past 10 years Spears has:
See the trend? Life is all about peaks and valleys. It seems that Spears is going through life as all of us have, but with everything being exacerbated because of money and fame….think about it all for a second and how it may parallel what you’ve gone through.
So…my point is, when you can’t go any lower, what happens? You start going back up. I think Britney will be there again. She may have a comeback tour, become an actor, a spokesperson etc. But again it all comes down to the publicity that she is getting now. It won’t be “Oh look at that, remember that Britney Spears person?”. It will be “Wow look at what she is doing now”, as the buzz goes around.

It all happened at the Paris Hilton hosted pre-Super Bowl party for 944 magazine last night. While giving a performance, 50 cent gave a what’s up to Paris Hilton, who began singing in the front row. Once she jumped on stage and started shaking her extremely corporate white butt, 50 cent was quoted as saying “Get the fuck off the stage!”. Awesome.
Directly after, Hilton began to shed tears crying “But it’s my party!”. Apparently money doesn’t always buy street cred.
Earlier in the evening Paris was quoted as being a football fan as her grandfather used to own the chargers. And yes, I am an A List movie director because I own Castaway. When asked if she was going to watch the big game she replied: “Uhm, I’ll Tivo it”.

The Mad TV alum was arrested at the Comix Comedy Club in Manhattan on a misdemeanor charge of “forcible touching”. After being booked, he was released on his own recognizance.
Neither the comedy club or Spears’ reps had any comment on the situation.

Congratulations. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale of Bush fame are pregnant with their second child.
People magazine has reported that Douglas Rossdale, Gavin’s father, confirmed that his son and the No Doubt/solo artist are expecting child number two. “They and the whole family are delighted” said the grandfather to be. As of the news, Stefani is 13 weeks pregnant.
